Machine

A machine is a computer instance which is able to execute Actions as part of a Repository. Each machine is linked to a specific organization. This machine can be either on the cloud, on prim or your own personal machine. The machine must be able to access the internet and have SignalFire CLI installed.

Machines can be initialized with the token add command using the SignalFire CLI. MachineIDs and Secrets can be generated in the organization settings. MachineIDs and secrets are specific to a singal machine. Once a machine has used a machineID and secret no other machine can use it.

tip

When creating a new machine, you will only have access to view the secret once, so make sure you store it some place safe until you add the token to the machine.
